The Infinity 308 Series 3 ECU delivers high-end Motorsports, programmable EFI capabilities powerful enough for professional teams at a price that makes it attainable for tuners and track day drivers. Airflow-based tuning models simplify system installation and speed the tuning process by eliminating many of the setup requirements necessary in the previous generation ECUs. The Infinity ECU is built around a 200MHz, 32-bit automotive processor and Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), which is capable of processing 400 million instructions per second. The Series 3 ECUs are cost-effective, simplified engine controllers, designed to run a basic race, marine or crate engine setup, without requiring additional features like variable cam control, Drive-by-Wire throttle control or internal wideband air/fuel sensor controllers. Ideal for application upgrades on older MEFI-4 systems or more advanced sequential port injection and 'Smart' coil-near-plug ignition integration.The AEM Infinity 308 is a complete standalone programmable ECU that includes multiple boost control strategies, programmable nitrous control, programmable EFI control, on-the-fly map switching, programmable traction control, launch control, flex-fuel and multi-fuel capability. It utilizes airflow (VE) based tuning, supports PC and 3rd party data displays/logging equipment and can transfer data at up to 480Mb/second via USB. Its enclosure is sealed and has sealed IP67-rated comms connectors.Infinity ECU modules are designed for maximum flexibility across many types of applications. ECU modules and harnesses are sold separately for both Supported and Plug & Play applications. In some cases, certain ancillary vehicle systems such as factory instrument clusters, automatic transmissions, and certain drive by wire throttles, may not be supported. Wiring loom additions/modifications are required for 'Supported Applications'. AEM offers a range of Universal wiring harnesses with detailed application-specific wiring instructions/schematics to assist installations.Plug & Play Applications: Infinity Plug & Play applications are available for select vehicles. Plug & Play applications support a vehicle's engine and most other ancillary vehicle systems and include application-specific start up calibrations.
