Referring to know-how handed down for over a century, Champagne Eugène is the fruit of a perpetual cuvée initiated in 2003 and perpetuated ever since. A blend of 80% Meunier and 20% Pinot Noir, it is the quintessence of a family heritage initiated by Eugène Moussé in 1923. Originating from the exceptional terroirs of Cuisles, Jonquery and Châtillon-sur-Marne, Eugène is the fruit of remarkable geological diversity. Soils of green clay and chalky marl echo each other in the complexity of this cuvée produced from Réserve wines selected over two decades. Refreshed annually with new vintages, the latter provide this cuvée with incomparable structure and depth. After 18 months' ageing and an extremely low dosage of 2.5 g/l, this Champagne offers a balanced maturity between a naturally rich character and a very pretty freshness. The palate, both ample and precise, makes this cuvée the ideal ally for a dinatory aperitif.
