Description
The youngest VSOP cognac is at least 4 years old in accordance with current legislation. It is a blend of cognacs coming exclusively from Grande Champagne, classified as Premier Cru, one of the crus of the delimited region of cognac and placed at the top of the quality hierarchy because of its very chalky soil, an element for the optimal quality of the wines. The color is very light amber and the nose reveals floral scents in the first attack, followed by fragrances of spices such as white pepper to finish on leather, musk with a slight hint of coffee/cocoa. It is a cognac to be enjoyed after a chocolate cake or coffee eclairs after lunch or dinner. Its floral expressions and length in the mouth allow it to be enjoyed in the afternoon as well, with a small Davidoff cigar.
