Leyrat XO Elite - Cognac XO

Description

Leyrat XO Elite is an old amber-gold color with mahogany highlights. The nose reveals a delicate combination of roasted wood, spices and cocoa, followed by scents of pine resin, glazed wood and candied fruit, with a few floral touches. On the palate, its suppleness and harmony are the result of exceptional ageing. Aromas of tobacco, spices and candied fruit melt into an elegant finish, testifying to the mastery of this exceptional XO. It goes beautifully with desserts such as crème brûlée or apricot tart, the candied fruit and creaminess of Cognac coming together in perfect harmony. Made from 100% Ugni-blanc grapes grown on Chez Maillard's Domaine in the Fins Bois cru, this Cognac is distilled in Charentais stills and aged in Limousin oak barrels. With an alcohol content of 40% vol. it is available in 70cl with decanter and individual box. This XO Elite comes from Domaines Francis Abécassis, a major player in the Cognac, awarded several times, including at IWSC 2019 where he was named "Producer of the Year".
