De Luze Gentry - Cognac

Description

Gentry is a tribute to the gentleman and founder Alfred De Luze, and to his early creations. This blend of old eaux-de-vie features woody notes and hints of vanilla, inspired by the taste of Alfred's first Cognacs, crafted in intensely toasted casks. The bottle pays homage to the historic still-shaped bottle, a nod to the house's heritage and expertise. Colour: Amber with intense red highlights. Nose: Gentry offers a rich, complex aromatic palette, with notes of fig, vanilla, orange, coconut and candied fruit. Palate: Balanced, with notes of orange zest and a blend of spices. This Cognac goes wonderfully well with fish such as gravlax, or creamy cheeses such as Brillat-Savarin. For the best experience, we recommend tasting Gentry neat, in a tumbler glass, or as a cocktail.
