Lallier R21 Rosé - Champagne Rosé
LallierDescription
The Lallier Réflexion R.021 Rosé embodies a contemporary approach to blending a Champagne Rosé, combining the House's four signatures - purity, freshness, intensity and depth - with a delicate structure provided by the Pinot Noir tannins of Bouzy. This Champagne is made from 70% of the 2021 harvest, a year marked by difficult weather conditions but saved by a mild late summer, giving rise to fine, elegant, airy wines. The blend is dominated by Pinot Noir (53%), including 7% reds from the Bouzy terroir, complemented by 41% Chardonnay from Côte des blancs, and 6% Meunier. Aged 36 months on lees, it has a pale pink color with luminous highlights. The nose reveals aromas of blood orange and kumquat, supported by notes of red berries, evolving towards more mature accents of brioche and fresh hazelnut. On the palate, the attack is pure and iodized, followed by the power of Pinot Noir and the roundness of Meunier, while a slight bitterness on the finish accentuates the wine's freshness and depth. With a dosage of 7 g/L, this Champagne Extra-Brut is best served between 10°C and 12°C in a glass between a flute and a wine glass to enhance its effervescence and aromas. Perfect for a refined aperitif, it goes wonderfully with mushroom canapés, noble shellfish such as langoustine or king crab, and fatty fish such as seaweed-smoked salmon. A structured, complex Champagne, both bright and refined, ideal for celebrating great moments.
